www.freebabarahmad.com . On 16 July 2005, while attending a public conference with his father, Babar Ahmad's wife confirmed to Clarion that the website is run "by us". She also confirmed that she was present when police assaulted her husband, having woken them both up in their home. These police have not been prosecuted but Ahmad is now faced with extradition into the United States' gulag without due legal process. The name of the new Cambridge MP, David Howarth, does appear on related Early Day Motion 241 . It does not yet appear on this website's list of MPs who have replied to letters about Babar Ahmad so Cambridge constituents might like to consider bringing the matter to his attention. In a public speech, Ahmad's wife said that the Home Secretary - on whose whim his fate depends - had just announced a two month delay in his decision, which was therefore expected in mid-September.
