There was a technical improvement to cambridgeclarion.org in May 2026, to make its images and internal links use relative paths. The benefit is that if you download the website verbatim, mirroring its layout, then internal links and images on disc will work in a standard browser. Browsing the site from disc off-line will be the same as browsing on-line. By policy the site does not contain javascript, and all that the browser needs to render a page are the HTML file any image files it contains.
Private individuals (and no one else) who think there might be useful information on the website are welcome to download it for their own private, non-commercial use. Tools like wget and curl may help with downloading, but in future a zip file or tarball of the site, or parts of it may be available. And at some point in the future articles will be digitally signed so that you will know they are genuine wherever you find them.
In 2026, the internet, spawned by the US military's ARPA, is evidently a war zone and a spy zone, as perhaps it was always intended to be. Relative links, tarballs and digital signatures are a step towards a clear conceptual separation between information and its transport through a hostile zone. You don't have to be on-line to read. While it is still possible, you can download and store independent websites like this one, like a squirrel storing nuts for the coming winter.
